THERAPY FOR TEENAGERS

You can't tell if it's their age or something more

Asking more questions does not always help. Choose a psychologist with experience working with teenagers. You manage appointments and payment; your child has their own space in therapy. Check the first-session price before booking.

What we usually see

  • Anxiety and constant worry
  • Low mood, apathy or mood swings
  • Getting stuck with school or studying
  • Isolation, conflict or bullying
  • Screen and social media use

Someone they'll actually talk to

A teenager does not open up just because they are asked more questions. Choose a professional experienced with teenagers and check their training, credentials and available languages on their profile.

You handle everything outside the room

Signing up, choosing, appointments and payment are yours. What happens inside, what gets said in session, is theirs.

Two conversations, not one

You get your own channel with the therapist, so you know how to help at home. Your child's private conversation is not visible to you: that space is theirs.

FAMILIES

When the process belongs to a family, so does the platform

Supporting a teenager is not adult therapy in miniature. This is what already works at We Are Psycho.

  • Linked accounts

The family and the young person each have their own, joined by care authority.

  • Booking with approval

The young person requests an appointment and their guardian approves it before it is confirmed.

  • Separate conversations

The therapist talks to the young person on one channel and to the family on another.

  • The account becomes theirs

At the right age the young person keeps their account without losing the record of their process.

How it works

  1. You choose the person

Check their profile, training, credentials and available times before booking. Only professionals who see minors are shown.

  2. Appointments and payment in your name

Bookings, changes and payment are handled from your account, even though the therapy is not yours.

  3. Their own account

They can sign in with their own access to their sessions and to their conversation with the therapist.

  4. You know the cost before you start

Check the first-session price before booking. After that, each therapist shows their price on their profile.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to authorise the therapy?
Yes. Whoever holds parental responsibility or guardianship contracts the therapy on the young person's behalf and authorises the sessions. The account and the payment are yours.
Can I read what they discuss in therapy?
No. The therapist has one conversation with you and another with your child, and they are separate: theirs is not visible to you. Anything you need to know, you ask through your own channel.
Can I be in the session?
For the first one it is common. After that the three of you decide together, based on what helps at the time. There is no fixed rule.
What ages do you work with?
Each therapist states on their profile which ages they work with, and only those who see under-18s appear when you book. Contracting and authorising the sessions are always yours.
